In the past few years there has been a renewed interest in keeping terrariums and vivariums as well as exotic plants . As equipment and lighting have become more sophisticated it has become easier than ever to bring a piece of nature into your home.

Here at T and C Terrariums we are pleased to offer you a large selection of both rare and common aroids, bromeliads, carnivorous plants, tropical plants, ferns, and orchids suitable as both houseplants and terrarium plants.

Our plants are organically grown by us in our nursery which is licensed and inspected by the Florida Dept. of Agriculture. We are also licensed and inspected by the State of Florida to breed, exhibit and sell Class III Reptiles and Amphibians.

    The Mountain Jewel Orchid, Goodyera schlectendaliana is back in stock. This is a neat little jewel orchid that grows at higher elevations in S.E.Asia and Japan.

    Tropical moss has temporarily sold out again. If you missed out, contact us to get on our waiting list and we will e-mail you as soon as more is ready to ship.

    Back in stock is Ludisia discolor 'Alba' . Very limited quantites at this time. A great addition to your Jewel Orchid collection.

    We also have some nice Nepenthes alata , a lowland tropical pitcher plant from the Philippines. Great for beginners, these come in 4 inch pots with two plants bearing several well started pitchers.

    We have a new dwarf Croton, Codiaeum variegatum, dwarf . Very diverse leaf color and grows to only 18 inches tall. Great for beginners. Makes a great houseplant or terrarium plant.

    We've added an interesting aroid species, Caladium picturatum (Peruvian form). This species is a native of Peru and is seldom seen for sale. Easy to grow and nice for indoor dish gardens, tall terrariums or as a marginal around the edges of ponds.

    In the epiphytic orchids we now have available Dendrobium loddigesii. These S.E. Asian orchids are very easy to grow and highly recommended for beginners. As a bonus the yellow flowers are pleasantly fragrant!

    Finally back in stock after a long absence: Piper crocatum ! These beautiful vines are native to Ecuador and are rarely sold here in the USA. We have a limited number on hand now which are ready to ship.
